As the only player to have scored in every season of the Premier League, Giggs was elected into the PFA Team of the Century in 2007 and the Premier League Team of the Decade in 2003 as well as the FA Cup Team of the Century. Among his most revered accomplishments was his appointment as team captain at the 2012 Summer Olympics. In lieu of his outstanding contributions to the sport of English football, Giggs was named to the Football League 100 Legends and was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
